DISCLOSURE TEXT ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Pursuant to Article 10 titled “Obligation of the Data Controller to Inform” of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), our company Altınmarka Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (“Altınmarka”), as the data controller, is obligated to inform data subjects regarding the identity of the data controller, purposes of processing personal data, to whom and for what purposes personal data may be transferred, legal grounds and methods of collection, and the rights of the data subject under Article 11 of the KVKK.

Accordingly, this Disclosure Text has been prepared for the purpose of informing you, the data subjects, in accordance with Article 10 of the KVKK.

a. Identity of the Data Controller:

According to Article 3/1(ı) of the KVKK, a data controller is defined as “natural or legal persons who determine the purposes and means of processing personal data and are responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system.” Article 10/1(a) of the KVKK obliges informing the data subject of the identity of the data controller.

Altınmarka, due to your sharing of personal data via this website and other channels, may act as a “data controller” within the scope of the KVKK. Within this scope, the identity of the data controller is: Altınmarka Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, a joint-stock company established in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, registered with the Istanbul Trade Registry Office under number 319/4, with MERSIS number 0063002326000013, located at Atatürk Mah., Gazi Cad., No:2, Esenyurt, Istanbul.

b. Purposes of Processing Personal Data:

Your personal data is processed based on one or more of the legal grounds stated in Article 5 of the KVKK, and in accordance with the principles set out in Article 4. In all personal data processing activities carried out by Altınmarka, the obligations stipulated by the KVKK and related legislation are complied with.

The purposes for processing your personal data include: ensuring that our business units perform the necessary operations for you to benefit from the products and services offered by our Company; offering you products and services tailored to your tastes, usage habits, and needs; ensuring the legal and commercial security of our Company and third parties in business relations with our Company; and determining and implementing our Company’s commercial and business strategies. c. To Whom and for What Purposes Personal Data May Be Transferred:

Your collected personal data may be transferred for the following purposes: enabling the necessary work by our business units to benefit you from the products and services offered by our Company; marketing and selling our products through this site; customizing the products and services offered by our Company according to your tastes, usage habits, and needs; ensuring the legal and commercial security of our Company and third parties in business relations with our Company; and determining and implementing our Company’s commercial and business strategies. These transfers may be made to our business partners, suppliers, shareholders, legally authorized public institutions and private individuals, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, and limited to the purposes specified in the Altınmarka Personal Data Processing and Protection Policy available at www.altinmarka.com.tr.

d. Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data:

Your personal data may be collected through various channels, including records made on our website, forms filled in at our stores, and contracts you have signed with our Company, and processed in accordance with the law. Your personal data may be processed and transferred for the purposes specified in this Disclosure Text and under the conditions set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.

e. Rights of the Data Subject:

As personal data subjects, you may submit your requests regarding your rights via the methods specified in the Altınmarka Personal Data Processing and Protection Policy available at www.altinmarka.com.tr. Depending on the nature of the request, Altınmarka will conclude your request free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest. If fulfilling your request incurs a cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board will apply. Under Article 11 of the KVKK, data subjects have the following rights:

• To learn whether personal data is being processed,
• To request information if personal data has been processed,
• To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred at home or abroad,
• To request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed, and to request notification of such correction to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
• To request the deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons for processing no longer exist, even if processed in accordance with the law, and to request notification of such deletion or destruction to third parties,
• To object to a result against them arising from the analysis of personal data exclusively by automated systems,
• To request compensation if they suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.

Except for personal data collected due to legal obligations and contractual relationships, we wish to use your personal data to inform you about our products and services. Granting permission for this is at your discretion.
